Almost everything about the latest generation truck is new, including the suspension. Factory ride quality has improved substantially.

Superlift started with a clean slate as well. This Dodge lift represents the first of a new generation of Superlift lift systems that feature Frame Integrated Technology (FIT). It starts with onepiece, high-clearance lower control arm crossmembers made of .25" thick steel. The front and rear crossmembers are connected by a flush-mounted skid-pan that seals-off and protects the entire differential. The pan and crossmembers connect via an interlocking fit that is effectively seamless, made stronger yet by the use of countersunk fasteners. The integrated assembly is so strong that it makes traditional crossmember “kicker” braces obsolete.

Long add-a-leafs lift the rear 2" to 2.5". The leafs also help eliminate factory rear spring “chatter”, or wrap-up. The system includes Superide gas shocks for the front and hydraulics for the rear that are valved specifically for the Dodge.
