This Kit uses REPLACEMENT LEAF SPRINGS to raise the rear.
Front lift is achieved via replacement coil springs. The caster angle is corrected using radius arm lowering brackets to drop the rear (frame mounted) ends of the radius arms.
Rear lift is achieved by either rear blocks, add-a-leafs, or Superide Springs. Blocks allow for the best ride quality but axle hop can be a problem with large tires and may require traction bars or ladder bars. The add-a-leaf system reduces axle wrap-up but firms up ride quality. Superide rear leaf springs ride better than stock springs with add-a-leafs, but you lose the factory top-mounted overloads and their extra carrying capacity.
Two front and two rear Bilstein shocks, with black boots, are included with each system.
