This Kit uses REPLACEMENT LEAF SPRINGS to raise the rear.
Lift is achieved via replacement coil springs. For caster correction, proper geometry requires the combination of both Caster Brackets and radius arm lowering brackets (4" drop). Lowering the radius arms 8" - the amount required if Caster Brackets were not used - would overly stress the frame rails in addition to appearing odd.
The rear lift incorporates Superlift's unique heavy-duty rear compression travel control and load assist system used in conjunction with great riding Superide replacement rear springs. This system utilizes specially designed hollow rubber cushions that improve ride quality and load control when hauling or towing.
Two front and two rear Superide shocks are included with each lift suspension system. Boots are optional.

116-Do not alter system components to gain lift height.
118-Factory rear overload springs cannot be retained, but load capacity is not reduced because of SuperLift load-assist system included with the 8" lift kit.
119-Dually applications will require wider U-Bolts. Measure stock U-Bolts and call for ordering assistance.
