This Kit uses 5 in. BLOCKS and ADD-A-LEAFS to raise the rear.

Includes two front and two rear Superide shocks. Front lift is achieved via replacement coil springs. The new Ford SuperDuty is very sensitive to caster angle change. As the truck is lifted, the frame-mounted radius arms cause the front axle to rotate, resulting in less caster angle. Incorrect caster angle makes the truck more difficult to steer, since the truck's normal tendency to self-center is reduced. Incorrect caster can also induce steering shimmy. One more point that emphasizes the importance of correct caster angle and steering geometry in general. as a truck is loaded, by adding cargo or trailer tongue weight, caster is lost as the vehicle's rear ride height drops. When hauling or towing, driveability is even more important. The 8 inch Lift system utilizes two methods of caster correction: standard type radius arm drop brackets that lower the rear (frame mounted) ends of the radius arms and a bracket that bolts to the front of the radius arm. Using the standard type radius arm drop at the frame end alone would overly stress the frame rails in addition resulting in an unpleasant appearance.

    Foot Notes

    116-Do not alter system components to gain lift height.
    117-Factory rear overload springs cannot be retained if replacement rear springs are used.
    119-Dually applications will require wider U-Bolts. Measure stock U-Bolts and Select Rear Axle Size above. If not sure call for ordering assistance.
    125-Vehicles equipped with top mount overload springs will require a 2 inch longer rear U-Bolt Kit - Select Rear Axle Size above. If not sure call for ordering assistance.
